Barndoor client The App Association held a hugely successful drop-in session in the House of Commons yesterday.

No fewer than ten App Association members were on hand to demonstrate some of their hugely exciting technical innovations to MPs and Peers and discuss some of the policy issues that are affecting their companies and their sector.

Parliamentarians loved seeing innovations including such things as smart socks and augmented reality in action and learned a great deal, whether they stayed for 5 min,  half an hour, or longer.

The drop-in session was followed by an App Association Members dinner with special guest Chi Onwurah MP, Chair of the Science, Innovation, and Technology Committee, who talked to attendees about the plans for the Committee and gave some insight into the Government’s planned policies in this area.
