It was a packed house in Dining Room B of the House of Commons last night as Barndoor Strategy client GoHenry formally launched their Financial Education.
The document which outlines why it is vitally important to implement proper financial education in all primary and secondary schools as well as outlining a roadmap showing how this can be achieved was soft launched during the General Election campaign and has been well received by Parliamentarians of all colours.
At the reception, stakeholders from across the financial services and education sector were joined by MPs and staff from all political parties, offering a clear indication of the near-universal support there is on this issue.
Speeches were given by GoHenry Co-Founder and CEO Louise Hill while Ola Majekodunmi, founder of the All Things Money, explained why financial education matters so much to young people.
While the reception and manifesto has been a great success, the campaign continues with GoHenry now joining many others in making the case for financial education in their submission to the National Curriculum Review, which Barndoor Strategy will be working on with them.
