Barndoor Strategy client Frugalpac, the British sustainable packaging firm, produced a commemorative paper wine bottle to mark the King and Queen’s state visit to Bordeaux on Friday September 22.

The commemorative Cardbordeaux 2023 bottle contains the King’s Cypher and the Bordeaux crest on the front, and on the back had a message in French to the King and Queen.

Frugalpac were invited by the Department for Business and Trade, along with a select group of other UK businesses, to display their goods at a Franco-British event at Bordeaux’s Place de la Bourse to mark the monarch’s visit.

CEO Malcolm Waugh had the opportunity to present a bottle to Queen Camilla and tell her all about the work that Frugalpac is doing to decarbonise the packaging industry.
