Barndoor brings satellites and robots into Parliament as part of London Tech Week

There was a Barndoor first in Parliament this week as we took satellites and robots into Portcullis as well as smart-socks, sustainable plastic printers, and much more besides.

It was all part of a showcase of British tech excellence arranged with our client the Association of Connected Technology (ACT). They are a trade association representing tech SMEs and entrepreneurs from right across the UK and beyond.

ACT are currently in the midst of their Developed Tour which sees them hosting events right across the country taking in Belfast, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Milton Keynes, and London. This event saw them return to the capital for the first time since their successful Global App Economy Conference event back in April.

It was a fantastic occasion with MPs and Peers dropping in to see for themselves some of the amazing and innovative tech that is being created right here in the UK and discuss how they as policymakers can help to create an ecosystem to allow small tech firms to flourish.
