The APPG on the Future of Financial Services, for which Barndoor Strategy provides the Secretariat, held its AGM today in the House of Commons and was formally reconstituted.

Peter Bedford MP (Con, Mid Leicestershire) and Lord Sharkey (Lib Dem) will continue in their roles as Co-Chairs of the APPG with Baroness Goudie (Lab) joining Lewis Cocking MP (Con, Broxbourne) as Vice Chairs.

The AGM also saw the APPG sign off on plans for the Pensions Report, which we will be looking to publish soon, as well as future activity including an inquiry into The Future of Savings and Investment and an industry survey on Cryptocurrencies.

With other events in the offing too, 2026 looks to be an exciting year for this APPG.
