At an EGM held earlier this week, the Future of Financial Services APPG appointed Peter Bedford MP (Mid Leicestershire), as a new Co-Chair.

Peter will Chair the APPG alongside Co-Chair Lord Sharkey and Vice Chairs Lewis Cocking MP (Broxbourne) and Josh Dean MP (Hertford and Stortford).

The Future Financial Forum, which is part of Barndoor Strategy, will continue to provide the Secretariat for the APPG, which will shortly be publishing its report into Access to Banking.

The EGM also discussed future inquiries, and it was agreed that the next topic that the APPG will be looking at is around pensions. Further details of this inquiry will follow in due course.
