Psephologist
With a background as an award-winning academic and investigative journalist, Seth bolsters our research function.
Holding degrees from Cambridge, London and Warwick Universities – including a PhD in parliamentary history – Seth started his working life in the House of Commons, before spending over a decade with the Leadership Centre, working with a wide range of bodies across the UK public sector, from the NHS to the intelligence services. As a freelance journalist, he has contributed to the Guardian, Independent, openDemocracy, Private Eye, Spectator, Sunday Times, and was part of a team that won a British Journalism Award for Best Campaign. A keen psephologist, he has been principal research assistant on numerous books on politics and elections across several countries, for authors such as Michael Crick, Will Hutton and Prannoy Roy. He is a regular panelist/co-presenter of podcasts such as Oh God, What Now?, and The Bunker.
