David Spencer

As former Brexit Secretary Rt. Hon David Davis MP’s former Chief of Staff, David has more than 15 years’ experience working on politics and policy issues. A highly experienced campaigner he has led many prominent political campaigns as well as offering policy and strategic advice to organisations large and small.

David leads Barndoor Strategy’s trade and tech practice and is also the company’s Managing Director.

After graduating from Lancaster University and Kings College, London, David spent time working at DEFRA and the Independent Police Complaints Commission before joining the research team of shadow Home Secretary, David Davis. He subsequently ran public affairs for numerous clients at two highly regarded public affairs agencies in London before working as a freelancer in south-east Asia for several years.

Areas of practice have included: Brexit, Financial services, tech, crime and justice, health, education, technology, and defence.
